Calm Mediation has been commissioned by the Mayor's Office for Policing And Crime (MOPAC) to provide and deliver a pan-London victim focused restorative justice service as part of the London Victim and Witness Service (LVWS).
Calm is recruiting additional trained restorative justice facilitators to support this exciting initiative across all of Greater London's 32 boroughs plus the City of London.
England and Wales has a long history with restorative justice and so this year, we are focusing on restorative justice theory and practice that is at the forefront of the field. We are particularly interested in the application of RJ to forensic mental health institutions, corporate settings, serious and complex offences and disciplinary and complaints procedures. If you have experience in any of these areas, consider sharing your work with attendees at the conference.
Resolve West are looking to recruit a senior caseworker as part of its restorative justice service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, training and supporting the casework team and overseeing casework systems to ensure that outputs and outcomes are met as part of funding and in line with the needs of the service. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with enthusiasm and energy with excellent interpersonal skills and resilience, have experience of restorative justice, and a commitment to promoting this approach.
Staffordshire Youth Offending Service’s Restorative Justice Service has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM) by the Restorative Justice Council, in recognition of its high quality restorative justice interventions with young people.
