Job opportunity: Restorative Practitioner - Warrington (12 months initally)
Remedi are recruiting a Restorative Practitioner based in Warrington (Cheshire) for a 1 year pilot project.
The role of a restorative practitioner involves a significant amount of contact with people affected by conflict. This 1 year pilot programme is a new innovative role to work with a newly established team in Warrington, the role will involve delivering Restorative Skills Training to Police colleagues, providing restorative mediation support where there is conflict between families or communities, dedicated work with young people and their wider families to assess their needs and provide support to reduce risky or offending behaviour, dedicated RJ interventions to repair relationships and prevent further recidivist offending, the role will also involve a multi agency approach , knowledge of local agencies to sign post to enable offenders and victims to access specialist support services.
Location: Warrington
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £20,280 p.a. plus 6% pension contribution
Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
