Victim Officer - Vale of Glamorgan Council

The Youth Offending Service promotes a restorative ethos, their aims are to offer victims of youth crime an informed choice, about involvement in restorative approaches, to support victims through the process and enable them to engage in services both internal and external to YOS to meet their needs. Working in compliance with the Victim’s Code of Practice, the Victim Officer will be able to utilise their skills and experience to champion restorative practices and enable children and young people to engage in activities to repair the harm caused to victims.

YOUTH WORKER - Youth Justice: Reparation

You will be working with children and young people (10-17) who have been referred by the Youth Justice Service. This will include one to one and group based work.

You will be providing support, encouragement and supervision to enable children and young people to undertake ‘community reparation’ work. This can take many formsenvironmental projects, arts based projects, awareness raising campaigns, supporting local charity work etc.

Administrator - Derbyshire

You will be working 20 hours per week in the Restorative Justice Hub based at Derbyshire Police Headquarters in Ripley, providing administrative services as directed by the Remedi Manager. IVSTITIA case management system - "myRJ" formally endorsed by the RJC

IVSTITIA was founded in 2013 by experts from law enforcement agencies, education and correctional institutions across the globe with years of experience in Restorative Intervention and Practice. In partnership, and with investment from, the Ministry of Justice and the Restorative Justice Council, IVSTITIA have developed myRJ - a case management system that enables a collaborative, multi-agency approach.

Restorative Youth Worker (Hate Crime)

The role of a Hate Crime Restorative Youth Worker involves delivering intensive one to one support packages to young people and adults. You will also be expected to deliver group based programmes addressing hate crime with young people and adults in a youth offending setting, Probation as well as in schools. There will also be an expectation that you will make connections with voluntary sector organisations across South Yorkshire to ensure that the service reaches as many people as possible.
