Initial Assessment Victim Worker - Derbyshire

This will involve:
- Providing initial emotional and practical support to victims of crime who have been referred for support.
- Inputting live referrals into a secure case management system.
- Identifying the needs of the victim to help develop support plans for victim caseworkers.
- Completing risk assessments to manage any risk identified.
- Signposting victims to agencies to support needs.
- Support Derbyshire Victim Services helpline on a rota basis.
Remedi strive to create balance between working from home and working collaboratively with colleagues.
You will have a line manager who you will meet individually at least once a month and they will also be available during the week to provide support and guidance.
Remedi will provide:
- Full training
- A laptop and mobile phone
- Line management support and guidance
- The role requires a Police Vetting – Level 2
- 35 hrs per week
- Starting salary - £21,091- rising to £23,338 at the end of Year 2 in role
- 6% employer pension contribution
- 25 days leave per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata)
