This will involve:

  • Providing initial emotional and practical support to victims of crime who have been referred for support.
  • Inputting live referrals into a secure case management system.
  • Identifying the needs of the victim to help develop support plans for victim caseworkers.
  • Completing risk assessments to manage any risk identified.
  • Signposting victims to agencies to support needs.
  • Support Derbyshire Victim Services helpline on a rota basis.

Remedi strive to create balance between working from home and working collaboratively with colleagues.

You will have a line manager who you will meet individually at least once a month and they will also be available during the week to provide support and guidance.

Remedi will provide:

  • Full training
  • A laptop and mobile phone
  • Line management support and guidance
  • The role requires a Police Vetting – Level 2
  • 35 hrs per week
  • Starting salary - £21,091- rising to £23,338 at the end of Year 2 in role
  • 6% employer pension contribution
  • 25 days leave per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata)
