Prison Based Restorative Justice Service Manager (HMP Coldingley)

At HMP Coldingley, Belong deliver an successful, evidence based restorative justice service at the prison. HMP Coldingley is a Category C male prison, based in Woking. HMP Coldingley holds adults (aged 21+), with a high proportion of its population serving long-term or life sentences. The program builds on an established service model, delivered at HMP Coldingley since 2017. The programme applies restorative justice interventions in response to violent incidents and conflicts at the prison.

HMP/YOI Brinsford, Restorative Justice Service Manager

Belong have partnered with HMP/YOI Brinsford to deliver an evidence based restorative justice service at the prison. HMP/YOI Brinsford is a Category C and young offender prison located close to the city of Wolverhampton. The population is primarily 18 – 25 years of age, but HMP/YOI Brinsford houses a few older adult prisoners. The population all have 4 years or less left to serve and are at the resettlement stage of their sentence. Additionally, we they operate a small remand function to service the courts for YOI’s.

Personal Wellbeing Coach

Wales Restorative Approaches Partnership (WRAP) are recruiting a Personal Wellbeing Coach to join part of a multi-agency team providing restorative person centred support focusing on and addressing a range of personal wellbeing issues faced by service users referred by the Probation Service.

WRAP are delighted to be working in partnership with St Giles Trust & The Wise Group to deliver a person centred support service to community offenders and prison leavers.

Their interventions will focus on addressing the following:

Criminal Justice/Restorative Support Worker

The role of a Criminal Justice/Restorative Support Worker in Cheshire involves working with adults and young people affected by crime.

Working with Victims: The aim of your role will be to contact victims of crime to offer Restorative Justice, then work with them to deliver this process, via phone, online or in person. You will facilitate Restorative Justice for all crime types and with adults and young people.

Administrator - Ripley, Derbyshire

You will be working 20 hours per week in the Restorative Justice Hub based at Derbyshire Police Headquarters in Ripley, providing administrative services as directed by the Remedi Manager. You will be the central point of contact for Restorative Justice referrals and enquires across Derbyshire and will involve:

  • Undertaking direct correspondence with service users when required.

  • Liaising with partner agencies such as Derbyshire Police and Witness Care to access the relevant information, adhering to GDPR policies and procedures at all times.

Restorative Practitioner - Greater Manchester

As a Restorative Justice Practitioner, you will work with offenders and victims of crime to facilitate communication between them. You will be supporting victims and offenders of a wide variety of offence types, from shoplifting and criminal damage to sexual violence and murder. This will involve working with Greater Manchester Police, the National Probation Service and local prisons.

Mentor - Cumbria

Pathways is an exciting project with the goal of reducing reoffending in Cumbria. You will be providing intensive mentoring support for adults who have committed an offence. A person going through the Pathways project can expect support, structure and to be held accountable for their actions. The service works in close partnership with the Cumbria Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Restorative Practitioner - West Midlands

The role of a restorative practitioner involves a significant amount of contact with people affected by and involved in crime. This contact is usually initiated over the phone and includes individuals who may be the victim or perpetrator of all crime types from Theft to Murder. Your role will involve supporting individuals in the community and in prisons, through the Restorative Justice process.
