Restorative Justice Worker

The East Sussex Youth Justice Service (YJS) is seeking a Restorative Justice (RJ) Worker to work with victims of offences committed by children and support children to repair the harm to victims.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for and some experience in Restorative Justice, Youth Justice and/or Criminal Justice and an interest in supporting victims within the field of Youth Justice.  They will have experience of working with children and may have experience of working with victims of crime.

Restorative Justice Service Manager

The role will have lead responsibility and accountability for managing the Victim-Initiated RJ Services within the Victims First Specialist Service funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Thames Valley; to provide strategic direction; to attend Thames Valley key meetings e.g Local Criminal Justice Board (LCJB); to work closely with senior lead officers across Criminal Justice services in the Thames Valley and to maintain links with the CJS.

Evidencing your CPD

Our current CPD requirements require you to demonstrate that in the last 12 months you have completed a minimum of 12 hours

50% of your CPD must be RJC Approved CPD. This could include CPD Symposiums, other Approved RJC CPD Events and any RJC reading, e.g. bulletins or 'Resolution'
