The role a Hate Crime Practitioner for the new Hate Crime Service in Cheshire, involves a significant amount of contact with people affected by Hate Crime across all the 5 strands, as well as those committing such offences. You will be required to make initial contact with victims and offenders over the telephone, however there is the expectation that this work will be carried out face to face where suitable, following Remedi’s robust Covid-19 risk assessment, you will also be required to provide online support when preferred by victims.
Remedi are recruiting a young person’s Domestic Violence Practitioner, to provide high quality Restorative interventions and advice for young people (aged 14-24) and parents/carers who are experiencing domestic abuse, with a focus on reducing risk and aiding emotional recovery from the harmful impacts of domestic abuse. This will include emotional and practical support and the delivery of restorative interventions. This role will cover the Derbyshire area. The role is funded until the end of March 2022.
Why me? are recruiting a Restorative Justice Development Officer to work 3 days per week. They will work to increase awareness of Restorative Justice, develop best practices, develop and promote policy changes and act as a catalyst for increased use of Restorative Justice. They will particularly focus on managing and developing Project Articulate: our project aiming to increase access to Restorative Justice for people with English as an Additional Language.
