Restorative Practitioner - Reparation - St Helens

The Remedi team in St Helens is looking for a new Restorative Practitioner to supervise reparation and unpaid work hours and run restorative action projects with young people in the Youth Justice Service. Their new team member will spend most of their time in the community with young people aged 10-17 fulfilling the reparative element of their order. They are looking for someone who can work creatively to engage young people and support them to come up with project ideas to benefit their community as well as work with placements in their local community.

Young Persons Restorative Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Maternity Cover)

Remedi are recruiting a Young Persons Restorative Domestic Abuse Practitioner, to remotely provide high quality Restorative interventions and advice for young people and their families with a focus on reducing risk and aiding emotional recovery from the harmful impacts of domestic abuse. This will include emotional and practical support and the delivery of restorative interventions face to face, over the phone and via video call.

Hate Crime Practitioner - Cheshire

The role a Hate Crime Practitioner for the new Hate Crime Service in Cheshire, involves a significant amount of contact with people affected by Hate Crime across all the 5 strands, as well as those committing such offences. You will be required to make initial contact with victims and offenders over the telephone, however there is the expectation that this work will be carried out face to face where suitable, following Remedi’s robust Covid-19 risk assessment, you will also be required to provide online support when preferred by victims.

The RJC is inviting members to stand for election to join our board of trustees. We are currently seeking to recruit membership trustees to take up position in June 2022.  

The board of trustees is the RJC's governing body. Our board’s role is about corporate governance – collectively setting goals and ensuring that the RJC works effectively to meet those goals for the public benefit.
