We are pleased to announce that the Education Authority Northern Ireland (EA) have been awarded Registered Training Provider status.
EA is responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education services are available to meet the needs of children and young people, and support for the provision of efficient and effective youth services.
We have an opportunity for two part time roles or one full time and one part time role to work with us to develop and deliver our Restorative Justice (RJ) Service across Merseyside.
We are looking for individuals with a track record of work in restorative practices, experience of work in multi-agency partnerships across the criminal justice sector, and of working with volunteers.
Through funding from the OPCC (Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent) and the Ministry of Justice, we are now recruiting to expand our ground breaking service to those experiencing Adolescent to Parent Violence, Conflict or Abuse. The aim is to help families communicate more effectively and agree how to better manage conflict.
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help support Why me? to
widen access to Restorative Justice for people affected by crime. The
volunteer will help to craft our communications to ensure that our key
messages reach our audience, and support the running of any upcoming
events and forums. Other work may include helping with fundraising
research and assisting with our policy and campaigning work to help give
people affected by crime stronger rights to Restorative Justice.
We are currently formulating our policy position on the use of the whole range of restorative approaches with those affected by domestic and sexual abuse and violence.
