Family Restorative Justice Worker Preventing Adolescent to Parent Violence & Conflict

Through funding from the OPCC (Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent) and the Ministry of Justice, we are now recruiting to expand our ground breaking service to those experiencing Adolescent to Parent Violence, Conflict or Abuse. The aim is to help families communicate more effectively and agree how to better manage conflict.

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help support Why me? to
widen access to Restorative Justice for people affected by crime. The
volunteer will help to craft our communications to ensure that our key
messages reach our audience, and support the running of any upcoming
events and forums. Other work may include helping with fundraising
research and assisting with our policy and campaigning work to help give
people affected by crime stronger rights to Restorative Justice.

Significant Contribution Award - Nomination

The RJC is delighted to invite our members to submit nominations for our 2024 Significant Contribution Award.

This award was launched in 2021 to promote restorative justice in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to increase the visibility of outstanding restorative justice practitioners and scholars in the field and in the public domain more broadly. It honours individuals whose life work has had a significant and profound impact on the field of restorative justice at a national level.

Nominations can be submitted by those who hold either an individual or organisational membership however, the nominated recipient does not need to be an existing member of the RJC. Please note, RJC serving Trustees and staff cannot be nominated.

2022 – Dr Marian Liebmann 

2023 - Dr Terence Bevington

Nominations must be made using the form below and received no later than Friday 11th October 2023. The award recipient will be announced at our conference on the 18th  November 2024.
