The RJC is pleased to announce that Restorative South Yorkshire have been awarded Service Provider status.
The service, which is delivered by Remedi and funded by South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner and the Yorkshire and the Humber Probation Service, provides opportunities for those harmed by crime and those responsible for the harm to communicate in a safe environment with the support of trained facilitators.
The RJC is looking for case studies from the UK and internationally that illustrate the impact restorative practice can have. Many of those currently available on its website are quite old, and we are looking to update them with more recent examples of work done in the last three years.
The Restorative Justice Council (RJC) has produced resources that underpin and inform our Registration Frameworks and support the delivery of high quality restorative practice.

As a Restorative Practice Practitioner you will deliver restorative practice-based casework with a small cohort of young men in HMP YOI Aylesbury supporting them to develop and maintain better relationships, become more self-aware and to see conflict and its resolution as a part of life, through facilitating restorative conversations with estranged family members and significant others.
This publication has been developed by the Restorative Justice Council as an introduction to restorative justice in cases involving defendants / offenders aged 18 and over in courts in England and Wales.
