National Occupational Standards (NOS) guidance

The National Occupational Standards (NOS) are statements of good practice which relate to functions carried out in the workplace.

They describe what an individual needs to do, know and understand in order to carry out a particular job role or function. NOS for restorative practice have been published by Skills for Justice, the skills sector body.

The RJC was a key partner in the development of the NOS.
