Recovering from crime – restorative justice in action

The RJC and Why me? have co-produced Recovering from crime – restorative justice in action, a new film providing an insight into what a real restorative justice conference looks like.

Recovering from crime is based on the transcript of an actual restorative justice meeting between a burglary victim and her offender, with actors portraying the people who took part. It was directed and filmed using a technique called verbatim, where the actors are fed their lines through an earpiece.
