Description
I am based at the Monmoutshire and Torfaen youth offending service and have been in a restorative role since my start date back in 2001, I took over as the restorative justice worker here in 2007 and since then have developed the role. All of my work is underpinned by the restorative process. I will work with all cases to asses if there can be a restorative outcome. I am available to give advice and training where needed in our service and community.
I work closely with community safety, police, schools and care placements also working with foster carers to help with placement issues. Family group work is high on our agenda and feel that good communication is the way forward to deal with situations that sometimes arise in the home.
