Ms Gwen Swords

Description

Gwen has previously worked as a school counsellor and following training in 2007, extended her work to include restorative practice.

Gwen co-authored Counselling and Psychology in Organisational Settings, which primarily reflects on her counselling experience but also on the benefits of restorative practice in an educational setting.

More recently Gwen has also developed restorative work in children's residential settings, using circles as an opportunity to resolve conflict for victims of young offenders crime.

Gwen is an Accredited Practitioner with the RJC and a Practitioner Register Champion. Her primary role is that of counsellor for a local charity where she also offers restorative sessions for families.
