Role: Lead Restorative Practitioner

Salary: £28,000 + matched 5% pension contribution

Location: Home-based (UK) with some travel across the UK

Contract: Full-time fixed term for one year, with potential for extension following a successful pilot

Leave: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closedown

About the Programme:

This ground breaking initiative represents a significant advancement in addressing the complex needs of those affected by organisational harm. With a strong emphasis on creating a safe and nurturing environment, the programme prioritises the well-being of individuals who may not be ready or inclined to participate in traditional restorative justice processes. Our mission is to empower these individuals by validating their experiences and fostering healing outside of conventional frameworks, paving the way for transformative recovery.

The pilot programme is designed to be flexible and participant-centred, allowing a diverse range of individuals to explore their options at their own pace. This approach ensures a supportive atmosphere that honours and respects the unique journeys of each participant.

As a leader in this innovative programme grounded in restorative principles, you will play a pivotal role in its development. Each participant will have the opportunity to engage in up to six online support sessions, contributing to our aim of reaching and supporting 100 individuals who have been directly or indirectly impacted by organisational harm. This programme is not just about healing; it is about fostering resilience and empowerment in a community that needs it most.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a high-quality, trauma-informed restorative listening service for those impacted by organisational harm.

Train and supervise a dedicated team of restorative listeners to provide confidential one-to-one support.

Capture anonymised thematic insights to inform future systemic reforms.

Establish a sustainable framework that includes transitioning to a partly peer-led model.

What You Bring:

Significant experience in restorative practice and trauma-informed support.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

A strong understanding of the unique needs of those affected by organisational harm and a commitment to advocacy and empowerment.

Ability to create a safe space for individuals to express themselves without pressure or judgement.
