Criminal Justice/Restorative Support Worker

The role of a Criminal Justice/Restorative Support Worker in Cheshire involves working with adults and young people affected by crime.

Working with Victims: The aim of your role will be to contact victims of crime to offer Restorative Justice, then work with them to deliver this process, via phone, online or in person. You will facilitate Restorative Justice for all crime types and with adults and young people.

Additionally, you will complete support work with young people under 17 years who have been affected by crime and have been referred into our Got Your Back service. You will provide support via the phone, online or in person and create a support plan with the young person.  

Working with the Offenders: You will work with offenders in the community and in prisons to support them through the Restorative Justice process, as well as engaging them in our Restorative Awareness sessions which are delivered over the phone for offenders under Cheshire Probation.

Hours | 30 hours per week

Salary | £21,091pro rata (Actual £18,078) rising to £23,338 at the end of Year 2 in role plus 6% employer pension contribution
