Restorative Justice Lead Trainer and Practitioner

Salus are seeking a Lead Trainer and Practitioner, based in Kent.

Salus have been at the forefront of Restorative Services for many years. They have led the way with many ground-breaking initiatives and ensured that this approach is embedded in many organisations across the Country. They are now seeking a Lead Trainer and Practitioner to continue this excellent work. This is an exciting opportunity to use your passion, skills and experience to equip and enthuse other practitioners to use Restorative Justice/Approaches for maximum impact with children, families, professionals and communities.
To do this they are looking for a skilled and experienced trainer with knowledge of Restorative Justice/Approaches and the energy to drive this service forward. This role is a key part of the Salus management team and influences all parts of the organisation in addition to external opportunities such as training Police Officers, Teachers, Foster Carers, Youth Justice Workers, Youth Workers, Residential Care Workers and Restorative Justice Volunteers.
The role is part time (0.5fte) and they are ideally looking for someone to deliver this through an annualised hours contract across the year to respond to peaks and troughs in demand. Exact details negotiable.
Due to the geographical reach of this role and the limited public transport in some of the areas, it is expected that the post holder will be a driver and have use of a vehicle for work.
