Wandsworth Youth Offending Team’s Victim/Restorative Justice Work awarded the RSQM

The RJC is delighted to announce that Wandsworth Youth Offending Team’s Victim/Restorative Justice Work has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM).

The RSQM is a badge of quality that demonstrates that a service provides safe, high quality restorative practice which meets the six Restorative Service Standards.

Chris Straker, the RJC’s interim chief executive, said:

“I would like to congratulate Wandsworth Youth Offending Team on being awarded the RSQM. This achievement represents the commitment of all of its staff to ensuring the highest standards in safe and effective restorative practice.”

Richard Omari, referral order and victim co-ordinator from Wandsworth Youth Offending Team, said:

“We've made it! Very excited to gain the recognition for all the hard work put in to promote restorative justice in our service. The recognition of the RSQM adds a level of prestige, which we felt would be good for our staff and service users in demonstrating we take this part of our work seriously.”
