TPQM - Free places available to new applicants

We are delighted that the Ministry of Justice has agreed to further support the TPQM in 2017-18, enabling the RJC to offer the TPQM free of charge to a limited number of organisations on a first come first served basis.

The TPQM provides a badge of quality for training providers. It allows training providers to show that they have been externally recognised, enables them to market their training in a competitive field, and gives commissioners and learners confidence in their training. Twenty-three training providers now hold the TPQM, with one telling us:

“Completing the TPQM gave us renewed motivation and confidence in our services. Having an independent body assess our restorative training was really useful in helping us to recognise our strengths, as well as identifying areas for development.”

Please note that in order to be eligible for a free TPQM you must:

1. Be listed on the RJC Trainers Register.

2. Carry out at least one restorative facilitation training course per year.

3. Deliver training to practitioners working in the criminal justice system.

4. Be able to submit an application within two months of being informed whether a free assessment is being offered.

In addition, there are some general requirements around completing the TPQM (eg timescales) that you should be aware of, which are contained in the Supporting information and terms and conditions.

Please email standards@restorativejustice.org.uk to register your interest by 14 July, or call us on 020 7831 5700.
