RJC job opportunity - finance and operations manager

The RJC is looking for an experienced finance and operations manager to lead the charity’s internal functions. The successful applicant will be confident in a multi-disciplinary role and enjoy balancing a diverse workload. With the support of a part-time membership and admin officer they will take pride in contributing to the work of the charity by ensuring it continues to be well-run via its back office infrastructure. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail are essential, as are strong interpersonal skills.

As the lead for the organisation’s finances the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and provide external book-keepers with the data they need to produce the monthly management accounts. They will also have the ability to turn management accounts into financial reports for a range of purposes.

The post-holder will also ensure that the RJC team have the operational infrastructure they require to focus on promoting restorative justice and providing quality assurance to the field. Responsibilities will include the organisation’s information technology, office management and legal duties such as data protection, contract management and health and safety. They will be committed to leading the RJC’s human resources in keeping with restorative principles.
