RJC CPD programme for 2015-16

The RJC has a number of exciting CPD workshops coming up that have been designed based on the results of the survey we sent out in April.

This year, as well as the usual workshops for practitioners to build on their skillset, we are offering free workshops to volunteers who often have to fund their own training. The RJC will also be offering to pay for volunteers’ travel up to a maximum of £70 for these workshops.

The titles and dates of each workshop are below. The events will be put on the RJC website soon, please register quickly as there will be limited spaces. Follow the links below for more information about each event.

• Working with sensitive and complex cases – Thursday 15 October 2015
• Restorative practice in the education sector – Monday 26 October 2015
• Communicating with participants who have been harmed – Wednesday 11 November 2015
• Effective case supervision and supporting those working in restorative practice – Thursday 26 November 2015
• Communicating with participants who have harmed – Monday 29 February 2016
• Working as a volunteer in restorative practice – date TBC
• Working with parents in restorative practice – date TBC
