RJC BAME report launch
On Tuesday 21 February 2017, the RJC will be hosting a free event in London to launch a report exploring black, Asian and minority ethnic children's access to and experience of restorative justice in the youth justice system. Based on the findings of an eight month research project, this report examines current practice and sets out a series of recommendations for changes in policy and practice.
The event will take place at Friends House, Euston at 10am–1pm on 21 February, followed by lunch. Speakers will include Lord McNally, Chair of the Youth Justice Board, Dr Muna Sabbagh, who conducted the research, and practitioners who work with black, Asian and minority ethnic children who have offended.
Places are limited and will be provided on a first come first served basis. If you would like to attend please contact Muna Sabbagh on firstname.lastname@example.org.
