The RJC is pleased to announce that Restorative Solutions: Family Action Lincolnshire Behavioural Outreach Support Service has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM).

Restorative Solutions and Family Action are working together across Lincolnshire to support schools to reduce challenging behaviour and conflict in schools through the use of restorative approaches.

Chris Straker, the RJC’s interim chief executive, said:

“By successfully completing the RSQM, Restorative Solutions and Family Action Lincolnshire Behavioural Outreach Support Service has demonstrated its commitment to providing the highest standards in restorative practice in schools. I would like to congratulate the whole team on this achievement.”

The RSQM is a badge of quality that guarantees that a service provides safe, high quality restorative practice which meets the six Restorative Service Standards. The Restorative Solutions and Family Action service joins other RSQM awardees – in sectors ranging from criminal justice through education to care – delivering high quality restorative processes.

Clare Boardman, Restorative Manager for the service, said:

“We were absolutely delighted to achieve the RSQM. Restorative approaches in educational settings are transformational, and the Quality Mark assures our schools that our delivery is to the highest standard. The RSQM enables us to robustly self-assess our practice and processes and policies. It enables the organisation to continually develop the service and instil good practice.”

On the benefits of undertaking the RSQM, Clare said:

“As an organisation we would highly recommend being put forward for the RSQM. It has benefitted our service in numerous ways by keeping us up to date with current practices and provided a benchmark to maintain our standards. “
