Restorative Practitioner

You will take responsibility for the effective delivery of Community Reparation and Unpaid Work hours provided by Remedi for the Youth Justice Service. This will include working with young people both one to one and on a group basis. Community reparation and unpaid work are a vital component to contributing towards the youth justice services aim of reducing re-offending. The RJ practitioner will be responsible for the effective supervision of young people required to undertake reparation and unpaid work activities as referred by the Youth Justice Service. Your role will be to motivate and engage young people in the successful completion of their hours. In addition, the role of the RJ practitioner is to ensure all work planned is carried out safely as well as liaising with current placements and sourcing new placements as and when required.
Enhanced DBS checks will also be required before posts are confirmed.
