Restorative Justice Volunteer Manager

Restorative Gloucestershire are recruiting for a Restorative Justice Volunteer Manager to join their established Restorative Justice service. Restorative Gloucestershire is the county's Restorative Practice centre of excellence, enabling people to safely share their stories, be heard, redress power imbalance and find answers. They believe the opportunity to restoratively repair harm and rebuild relationships should be available to all. They manage and deliver a broad case load including Criminal Justice work (out of court disposals and post-sentence), and undertake a variety of community based Restorative Mediation work where conflict or harm has occurred (Restorative circles, neighbour disputes, family work). The post-holder will be responsible for managing the recruitment and development of our large cohort of highly dedicated volunteer practitioners, ensuring they are fully supported in their volunteer work at every turn. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of Restorative Justice Practitioner experience at intermediate or advanced level, as well as experience of mentoring or managing people. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and passionate team whose commitment to restorative values is woven into the way we work day to day. This role is a key role in the team, and contributes greatly to the incredible and transformative benefits experienced by those who take part in the restorative process.

Although our office base is at Gloucestershire Police Headquarters in Quedgeley, Gloucester, they have an agile working policy in place that allows for some flexibility around working location, dependent on the needs of the role and service.
