We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced trainer to join our team, helping to develop the way we work with the community and each other. It will be an exciting and challenging role with plenty of opportunity to contribute and participate in the development of a key delivery for Torbay. Having won Most Improved Council of the Year, at the local Government Chronicle Awards in 2023, our next step is to become a Relational Council, putting people, customers and partners at the heart of all that we do.

About the post

To be successful in this role we are seeking a confident and experienced trainer who can develop and deliver our inhouse restorative and relational training programme and events and to support the ongoing development of our workforce and partner agencies.

You will need excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills and have an enthusiasm and passion for training. With significant involvement from our Relational Practice Lead, this role will allow you to make hands on contribution, whilst having the support of a committed and professional project team.
