Referral Order Panel Coordinator - Manchester

You will take responsibility as referral order panel coordinator for facilitating referral order panels and coordinating volunteer panel members in St Helens Youth Justice service. communication between victims and offenders referred by St Helens Youth Justice Service (YJS). Referral order panels take place when a young person has been sentenced in court to a referral order, this is a community sentence where youth justice officers complete interventions with the young person to address their offending behaviour. The Referral order panel coordinator will need to organise these panels at initial, review and final stages ensuring panel members are fully trained and equipped to lead the panel. They will hold regular team meetings for the panel members and provide training and recruitment for new volunteers where necessary. Flexibility is essential for this role, as you will be required to work evenings and some weekends.
