The RJC is pleased to announce that Nottinghamshire Victim CARE has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM).

Chris Straker, the RJC’s interim chief executive, said:

“Through completing the RSQM, Nottinghamshire Victim CARE has demonstrated that it is providing the highest standards in restorative practice, and I would like to congratulate the whole team on this achievement.”

The RSQM is a badge of quality that guarantees that a service provides safe, high quality restorative practice which meets the six Restorative Service Standards. Nottinghamshire Victim CARE joins other RSQM awardees – in sectors ranging from criminal justice through education to care – delivering high quality restorative processes.

Katherine Cant, Nottinghamshire Victim CARE’s head of service, said:

“We decided to apply because the Restorative Service Quality Mark is a real benchmark for restorative justice, and therefore important for our service to obtain. It's helped us take more of a holistic view of restorative justice and how we integrate it into our wider team. The team work really hard to deliver a high quality service and it was great to have this recognised formally.”
