Make Amends awarded the RSQM

The Restorative Justice Council is delighted to announce that Make Amends has been awarded the Restorative Service Quality Mark (RSQM).

The RSQM is a rigorously assessed quality mark which demonstrates that organisations are delivering high quality, safe restorative services that meet the six Restorative Service Standards. Make Amends joins other RSQM awardees delivering restorative practices in a range of sectors, including criminal justice, education and care.

Chris Straker, the RJC’s interim chief executive, said:

“Congratulations to everyone in the team at Make Amends for successfully completing the RSQM. It is a great testimony to their approach to delivering high quality restorative practice.”

Dr Davina Cull, service manager at Make Amends, said:

“Having practiced for three years we felt that we needed to achieve the RSQM in order to champion our existing work and strive for continual improvement and growth going forward. Whilst the RSQM shines a spot light on your practice, it is also an incredibly valuable experience for highlighting areas of good practice and areas to improve. This means so much to us because it really champions the hard work of our very talented and committed volunteer restorative practitioners.”
