Sussex police are recruiting a restorative justice and community resolution co-ordinator for a fixed-term contract.

The role involves managing the day-to-day delivery of restorative justice processes by facilitators from all partnership agencies, ranging from low level crimes dealt with out of court by Community Resolution, up to post-sentence cases which may be delivered within prisons. As well as overseeing the service the individual will also deliver restorative justice cases, so a strong understanding of the key principles of restorative approaches and the RJC Restorative Service Standards is essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of supervising staff and working in a multi-agency environment with both criminal justice or voluntary sector staff are also vital.

The position is full-time. The Salary is £26,271-£29,016
