Job opportunity: senior restorative justice caseworker at Restorative Approaches Avon & Somerset

Resolve West are looking to recruit a senior caseworker as part of its restorative justice service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, training and supporting the casework team and overseeing casework systems to ensure that outputs and outcomes are met as part of funding and in line with the needs of the service. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with enthusiasm and energy with excellent interpersonal skills and resilience, have experience of restorative justice, and a commitment to promoting this approach. 

High levels of organisational and inter-personal skills are essential as well as skilled in monitoring, evaluating and auditing services as well as excellent IT and administrative processes. The successful post holder will be able to work on their own initiative, as well as being part of a team and have excellent listening skills, putting volunteers, staff and services users at ease and deal with high levels of emotion whilst remaining calm, focussed and non-judgmental.

Excellent time management, working under pressure and to deadlines is an essential part of this role whilst being able to reflect the professionalism of our service over the telephone.
