This year’s International Restorative Justice Week takes place between 15 and 22 November, celebrating and raising awareness of restorative justice.

Key activities happening during this period are the Ministry of Justice’s campaign, I’ve got something to say, and the RJC’s annual conference.

The Ministry of Justice’s International Restorative Justice Week campaign seeks to increase general awareness and understanding of restorative justice and emphasise the benefits for victims.

The theme, I’ve got something to say, highlights how restorative justice can help empower victims, give them a voice and help them to move forward with their lives. You can follow the Ministry of Justice on Twitter and Facebook to keep up to date with the various activities taking place around the campaign.

The RJC’s annual conference, which takes place on 18 November, is entitled Restorative justice - 2020 vision. It will explore how the restorative practice field could develop over the next five years. The event will feature speakers and panellists, who are prominent figures in the restorative field. Find out more here.

This week is the perfect time to support the RJC and help us make sure every victim of crime can benefit from restorative justice. Your support will help us to campaign for the widespread use of restorative justice, raise the profile of restorative justice in the media and with the public, and enable victims to access restorative justice wherever and whenever they need it. Show your support here.

The RJC will also be posting updates during International Restorative Justice Week. You can follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn and join the discussion using the hashtag #RJweek2015.
