Training for Case Supervisors of Restorative Practitioners

Bringing 25 years of experience to Case Supervision. Essential to safe practice and the effective delivery of restorative practice. This training will guide delegates through the skills and knowledge to effectively deliver Case Supervision. Consistent with Restorative Practice Guidance and legislation.

Aim;
• To provide Case Supervisors with an understanding of their role in respect of the delivery of Restorative Approaches by Restorative Practitioners.

Objectives;
On completion of this workshop delegates will have an understanding of how to;
• Provide advice and oversight in individual cases, to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective, and to check that appropriate and safe practice is being followed.
• Perform their role in line with current Restorative Practice Guidance
• Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform this role restoratively
• Practice the skills necessary to effectively perform their role

• Elements of an effective relationship
• Responsibilities of Case Supervisors, Supervisees, and Line Managers (Restorative Practice Guidance 2025)
• Requirements of Case Supervisees
• Knowledge and Skills required of Case Supervisors
• Guiding experiential learning
• Debriefing skills
• Giving and receiving feedback
• Ethical Case Note Recording including ethical guidelines, GDPR and confidentiality legislation and potential subject access requests.
