Restorative Skills

Six-day Restorative Skills Course Our Foundation Level Restorative Skills course is held online, and takes learners from first visits, through preparation to a full restorative meeting. No experience required. The course is Approved by the Restorative Justice Council and consists of ten modules plus five hours of self-study.

Objectives
The objectives of the course are to understand:
• your own and others’ responses to harm and offending;
• the main different approaches to dealing with harm and offending;
• the ethics informing restorative practice;
• the legal context in which restorative practice operates;
• how current legislation affects restorative practice;
• the role of the practitioner in different stages of the restorative process
