Aim;
• To provide Case Supervisors with an understanding of their role in respect of the delivery of Restorative Approaches by Restorative Practitioners.
Objectives;
On completion of this workshop delegates will have an understanding of how to;
• Provide advice and oversight in individual cases, to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective, and to check that appropriate and safe practice is being followed.
• Perform their role in line with current Restorative Practice Guidance
• Develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform this role restoratively
• Practice the skills necessary to effectively perform their role
Included in the training
• Elements of an effective relationship
• Responsibilities of Case Supervisors, Supervisees, and Line Managers (Restorative Practice Guidance 2025)
• Requirements of Case Supervisees
• Knowledge and Skills required of Case Supervisors
• Guiding experiential learning
• Debriefing skills
• Giving and receiving feedback
• Ethical Case Note Recording including ethical guidelines, GDPR and confidentiality legislation and potential subject access requests.
