Restorative Sex Education
Clara will offer an overview of the broader context of her doctoral research which involved focus groups, interviews, and classroom observations involving over 200 research participants. She will also present an analysis of the data which showcases how restorative sex education can help students to make healthy, safe, empowered, and informed choices, while also having the skills necessary for effectively and safely identifying and responding to incidents of harmful sexual behaviour.
Finally, Clara will offer practical examples of ways in which schools can implement restorative approaches into sex education and will share with us her implementation model for future practice.
The event will end with time for questions and discussion.
