Restorative Leaders’ Summit 2026

Public confidence in justice is fragile, and restorative justice remains overlooked. Repairing Trust is a fast paced, one day summit uniting practitioners, policymakers, community organisations, and people with lived experience to co design a bold national awareness campaign. Through inspiring insights, hands on workshops, and a dynamic co design lab, attendees will shape compelling messages, a strong visual identity, and practical engagement tools. Together, we will explore how restorative justice can rebuild trust across communities and institutions. This summit is for anyone committed to fairness, transparency, and elevating restorative justice on the national stage.

Repairing Trust – A National Campaign for Restorative Justice Awareness

Across the UK, public confidence in justice is under strain. Misunderstandings, mistrust, and a lack of visibility leave restorative justice undervalued and often misunderstood. This year’s Restorative Leaders’ Summit brings together practitioners, policymakers, community leaders, and people with lived experience to change that narrative.

Join us for a powerful one‑day summit focused on co‑designing a national awareness campaign that will place restorative justice firmly, and confidently, on the public agenda.

What to Expect

Inspiring Opening & RJC Insight: Explore why trust in justice systems is fragile and how restorative practice provides a credible, human‑centred alternative.

Interactive Workshops: Take part in hands‑on sessions mapping where trust breaks down and crafting messages that speak clearly to the public, professionals, and policymakers.

Campaign Co‑Design Lab: Co‑create the building blocks of a national awareness campaign—from visual identity and key messages to engagement activities and sector‑specific materials.

Expert Panel: Hear from practitioners, lived‑experience contributors, and media specialists on how restorative justice can rebuild trust across communities and institutions.

Collective Decision Forum: Help shape the direction of the campaign as we prioritise key themes, actions, and commitments together.
