Restorative Approaches Facilitator training
This RJC approved course (foundation level) provides intensive, interactive facilitator training focused on building an understanding of restorative values and skills. It includes in person sessions to support the development of effective facilitation skills - which explores the practice standards (NOS) and enables participants to facilitate safe and effective restorative processes in a variety of settings
Full Description
The RBG Facilitator course is delivered by experienced restorative practitioners and aims to fully train individuals to facilitate restorative processes in a range of settings. As with all RBG restorative training, the focus is on the synthesis of effective practice alongside theoretical understanding. Key topics include:
- Restorative principles and values
- Introduction to the key theories that inform restorative practice
- Supported, in person skills practice sessions that use key NOS units
- Consideration of how to implement restorative processes in your setting
COURSE DATES
The 2025 course will be a mix of online sessions and in person sessions, to enable the necessary practical, skills based elements of the course to be completed, see below for full details:
1. 23rd September 9.30am – 12.30pm Session 1 ONLINE
2.30th September 9.30am – 12.30pm Session 2 ONLINE
3.9th October 9.30am – 4.30pm Session 3 IN PERSON
4.16TH October 9.30am – 4.30pm Session 4 IN PERSON
5.23RD October 9.30 – 12.30pm Session 5 ONLINE
Learners who have completed this Facilitator course can go on to undertake the Module 1 of the RA Level 5 programme at a reduced rate.
