Restorative Practice & Level 1 Facilitation

A 3 day online course, delivered a week apart, offering skills to apply restorative approaches in any situation.

This training is to understand how the principles and practice of restorative approaches can build better working environments. We teach a framework for more effective relationships and communication skills, including de-escalating tensions, resolving conflict, compassionate challenge and fair process. The course is almost entirely practical with simple techniques to express yourself, hold restorative conversations, deliver restorative circles and facilitate low level interventions. The training focuses on a combination of restorative, coaching and transactional analysis skills to build teams who can express themselves more effectively and work through conflict in any given situation. This training has been delivered across all sectors including: education, health service, third sector, criminal justice system including prisons, executive workplace and statutory agencies. This training is a very good foundation for all restorative work and roles. The course offers “a toolkit for life”. We look at embedding restorative practice within organisations, to support culture change on both a micro and macro level.
