The RJC is recruiting a new chief executive
The Restorative Justice Council is seeking a new chief executive to lead this influential national charity at an exciting time in its development. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader to influence the development of restorative practice at a local and national level.
The RJC is the independent membership body for the field of restorative justice. We provide a national voice advocating the widespread use of all forms of restorative justice, and promote standards that will lead to safe, high-quality processes for participants.
The chief executive is responsible for leading the work of the RJC. This includes providing inspirational leadership, building productive relationships with key stakeholders, and representing the organisation in a range of arenas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of an ambitious programme of work, in support of the organisation’s aims and vision.
The role requires an individual with significant management experience who can work with a wide range of stakeholders – including the RJC’s funders, members and partner organisations – to promote the widespread use of restorative practice. They must have the ability to grow and diversify the RJC’s funding base and to forge new relationships as the RJC broadens its work and influence.
The salary for this post is £50,000 per annum and the closing date for applications is 5pm Thursday 21st March 2019.
