As a Restorative Practice Practitioner you will deliver restorative practice-based casework with a small cohort of young men in HMP YOI Aylesbury supporting them to develop and maintain better relationships, become more self-aware and to see conflict and its resolution as a part of life, through facilitating restorative conversations with estranged family members and significant others.
This hybrid working role is an excellent opportunity to increase your current experience of working with young people and adult offenders and victims of crime. The Remedi Cheshire team and services has been expanding over the last couple of years, and this is a great opportunity to join an exciting, innovative and dedicated team of practitioners delivering various services across the whole of Cheshire.
As a Lead Practitioner you will work with offenders and victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, to facilitate a process of communication between them through Restorative Justice (RJ).
This will involve working collaboratively with a wide range of agencies including North Yorkshire Police, Probation Service, Crown Prosecution Service, HM Courts, HM Prisons and other voluntary sector agencies in the delivery of RJ in North Yorkshire.
