Restorative Thinking is a Social Enterprise providing training, coaching,
consultation and supervision in the fields of restorative and relational practice. We also offer evidence-based restorative practice prevention and intervention programmes, including 'Parenting without Conflict' (awarded the DfE CANparent Quality Mark) and our School KS1&2 Curriculum Programme, awarded the Teach Primary PSHE Award.
In 2018 Restorative Thinking was awarded the i-Network Innovation Award for 'Transforming and Innovating Public Services' for our work with Liverpool City Council.
We work with Local Authorities (Children’s and Adult Services); Youth Justice Services; Criminal Justice Services (Prisons, Probation Services) and Police and Crime Commissioners.
We are a restorative organisation, proud recipients of the RSQM and TPQM, and aim to model restorative practice in all our dealings.
We offer a full range of training/consultation options. Examples of recent projects include:
1) Whole school implementation of restorative practice with 21 primary, secondary and special schools in Liverpool, with the Families' Strategic Group at Liverpool City Council.
2) Restorative Practice partner with Wakefield Council, training staff and working with teams to implement restorative practice across Children's Services.
3) HMPPS funded project to test restorative practice as a means of fostering inclusive residential environments at Approved Premises in the Midlands and North East Divisions.
4) Restorative practice in prison settings, to prevent and manage day to day conflict (staff/staff and staff/prisoners).
