Restorative Justice 4 Schools Ltd

Restorative Justice 4 Schools are an independent restorative approaches training provider that specialise in bespoke training packages to all areas of Education and the Criminal Justice System wishing to develop a restorative approach to behavioural management. Our small team of associate trainers are experienced in all aspects of restorative practice.
We believe that restorative approaches can make a highly valuable contribution to our communities by developing key social skills, addressing the needs of victims and developing a culture of truth telling, responsibility and accountability.
Our range of training courses are designed to prepare teaching and support staff to use a restorative approach to their work in schools. We aim to build the necessary skills to enable participants to use formal restorative justice conference facilitation, circle time and informal restorative chats in their everyday role creating a culture rich in emotional literacy and conflict resolution skills.
Our Director Lynne Russell comes from an Education background via Youth Offending and Victim Support. Her work with Vicitms of Crime started at Victim Support where she developed one of the first Vulnerable and Intimidated Witness Services within London. Lynne later moved into youth justice and worked for a London Youth Offending Team as part of their Restorative Justice Team. This led into education where she became Restorative Justice Co-ordinator working for an excellence cluster in Kent where was her responsibility to help secondary and primary schools implement and develop a restorative justice approach to their behavioural management strategy aimed at improving behaviour and reducing exclusions. She is a qualified restorative justice conference facilitator and has worked as a trainer for many years.
We offer a full range of restorative training for Education, Youth Justice and Look After Children from 1 hour introductory sessions to full Restorative Justice Conference Training, Complex and Sensitive and Victim’s Worker Training. Please see a full list of our training and costs on our website.
We have also developed a free school’s implementation pack that offers resources in both English and Welsh.
