Portsmouth Mediation Service was founded some twenty years ago, its big vision today is to operate as a centre of excellence and Influence in seeing Portsmouth established as a Restorative City. A skilled and experienced blend of highly motivated staff and volunteers are a on an exciting new journey. Through the work of assessment, mediation and restorative practice, this impartial and independent Service is working closely with the city housing officers, police, schools, university and other envisioned people and organisations to help resolve community disputes and conflict and to contribute towards the peace and prosperity of Portsmouth.

Supporting victims of crimes committed by young people through a designated victim worker. Facilitating conferencing and indirect RJ interventions. Supporting young people to avoid reoffending. Involving the local community through Referral Order panels.

We provide restorative services covering the areas of South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset. We are an independent charity taking referrals mainly from Avon and Somerset Constabulary. We undertake a range of cases including out of court disposals, post sentence cases including serious and sensitive cases, and sexually harming behaviour and domestic violence cases. We work with adults and young people including those with mental health issues and other vulnerabilities. We also deliver restorative shop theft workshops to deter young people from reoffending. We are funded by the Police and Crime Commissioners and have been operational since April 2015.

Staffordshire Restorative Justice Hub is commissioned by the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner and works alongside the Staffordshire Victim Gateway to provide a victim-led restorative justice service throughout Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. Our trained facilitators will guide and support victims of crime through the restorative justice process, delivering a range of interventions, including face-to-face meetings, in a safe environment.

Restorative justice provides opportunities for those directly affected by crime as a victim or as a perpetrator, to communicate and agree on how to deal with the incidents and its consequences. The process offers direct and indirect contact between those involved, such as face to face meetings or shuttle mediation. The service has trained officers who ensure the process is safe and managed appropriately for the victim and the perpetrator.

Broadmoor Hospital, West London Forensic and Local Services have associate practitioners trained in restorative practice working to maintain and develop restorative practices within in-patient and forensic hospital services.
