I was honoured to accept the invitation to participate in this year's Road Policing Seminar which featured a panel discussion on the implementation of victim-centered approaches in road policing.

The RJC are delighted to announce the launch of a new advisory panel to support our policy and standards work.

Our Living Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) has been established to create a space for those individuals with experience of either accessing or participating in a restorative process to come together and use their experiences to help inform our policy positions, practitioner guidance and practice standards.

The Restorative Justice Council has won a £1,000 festive financial boost thanks to nominations from the public.

We are one of 120 winning charities to receive an early Christmas gift of a £1,000 donation as part of Benefact Group’s seventh annual 12 days of giving Christmas campaign.

Members of the public were invited to nominate a charity to win a share of £120,000 and the Restorative Justice Council was amongst the winners which were drawn at random.

Torbay Council’s Children’s Services has been awarded Registered Training Provider status by the Restorative Justice Council (RJC)

This week is Restorative Justice Week, aimed at raising awareness of how individuals and organisations can work together to prevent conflict, build relationships and repair harm.

They are the first Children’s Service department within the UK to receive this award.
