This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Restorative Justice practitioner and trainer, keen to develop and enhance Restorative Justice practice nationally.
Why me? is a small charity with a big impact. We champion Restorative Justice, a process that changes lives. And we need the right leadership to continue growing its reach and impact. We are ready to scale up and are looking for a new Chair who can help lead us into this next chapter.
In a remarkable achievement, the Broadmoor Hospital Restorative Justice Team and Workforce Restorative Resolution Team have been awarded Registered Restorative Organisation status. This significant milestone underscores their unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality restorative practices within the West London NHS Trust.
As a Lead Practitioner you will work with offenders and victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, to facilitate a process of communication between them through Restorative Justice (RJ). This will involve working collaboratively with a wide range of agencies including North Yorkshire Police, Probation Service, Crown Prosecution Service, HM Courts, HM Prisons, Schools and other voluntary sector agencies in the delivery of RJ in North Yorkshire.
The Team Administrator will support the Why me? team in growing this exciting organisation to campaign for and deliver Restorative Justice for people affected by crime and conflict. Why me? runs campaigns and research, lobbies the Government, and helps organisations which deliver Restorative Justice. We also run a Restorative Justice helpline.
