RJ Lead Practitioner

As a Lead Practitioner you will work with offenders and victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, to facilitate a process of communication between them through Restorative Justice (RJ).

This will involve working collaboratively with a wide range of agencies including North Yorkshire Police, Probation Service, Crown Prosecution Service, HM Courts, HM Prisons and other voluntary sector agencies in the delivery of RJ in North Yorkshire.

Main responsibility: to focus on community conferencing working alongside partner agencies in order to coordinate restorative interventions to tackle an incident/series of incidents or ongoing anti-social/criminal behaviour that has affected individuals and community members. To work in a preventative way to reduce escalation, including crime, anti-social behaviour or complex neighbourhood disputes where multiple residents are involved.

Restorative Solutions are looking for experience of restorative practice or complimentary skills / experience and multi-agency partnership working across the criminal justice sector.

Salary | £13.860/annum (£23,100/annum FTE )
