Developing best practice through shared learning
The RJC is hosting a brand new event on Friday March 3 2017, led by Charlotte Calkin, where restorative practitioners from every sector are invited to join together and share learning and best practice through open space conferencing.
Unlike more traditional training events, this offers participants the unique opportunity to set their own discussion agendas on the day. It’s a pro-active learning experience, with everyone encouraged to communicate on the issues that matter most. Attendees will work in a series of facilitated break-out groups, enabling them to shape their own learning through asking questions and answering these collectively. All that is required is an open-mind, curiosity and a willingness to share.
The day provides a framework and a timetable – the content is up to you!
Based at the EY head office in central London, the day will include lunch and refreshments. There will be opportunities for informal networking throughout the day, including a social with (free!) wine in the final 45 minutes.
Charlotte Calkin said: “With many restorative organisations facing similar issues, there has never been a better time to share our knowledge. All restorative practitioners have something to offer, and something to learn, and open space conferencing is the perfect way to work with each other to co-create a strong, robust community of restorative practitioners.”
The day will develop practitioners’ skills through collaborative learning and building networks within the restorative community.
Places are strictly limited to 80, so book now to avoid disappointment!
