Restorative Approaches is pleased to offer a three day facilitator training course in restorative practice.
The course is aimed at HSB caseworkers, Victim Support Workers and those in Restorative Services who may be considering taking on cases of Sibling Harmful Sexual Behaviours.
This five-day RJC approved training course will give participants the knowledge and understanding to consolidate their practice and work towards Registered Restorative Practitioner status.
Peacemakers is running a one-day introductory course where you will be introduced to: underlying theory, philosophy and values of restorative practice; some of the language and questions and ways of thinking that form part of a restorative way of working; and some of the key skills needed to carry out safe and effective restorative practice in your setting.
This course is for staff who work face to face with children, young people, families and schools. You will be trained to facilitate restorative practices such as formal conferences, corridor and playground chats and class circles.
The course runs over three days, a week apart: Thursday 27 June, Thursday 4 July, and Thursday 11 July 2019. Participants must attend all three training days.
