Restorative conference facilitation training
This three-day training course is offered as a learning and development opportunity for staff who work face-to-face with children, young people, families or schools. This training course equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to help people to resolve conflict across the continuum of incidents, adopting a restorative approach.
This course is suitable for staff working in or with primary schools, whose role involves dealing with conflict. If your school or service is new to restorative approaches, we advise that you send at least two people in order to ensure that the learning from the course can be successfully implemented.
Included within the course fee is a follow-up meeting in your school or setting to support with the development of an implementation plan.
This training is necessarily rigorous and challenging. We work in an inclusive and participatory style that models the restorative process itself, ensuring participants learn within a supportive, safe environment.
The course is delivered by Terence Bevington, an accredited restorative practitioner. Conexus holds the Restorative Justice Council’s Training Provider Quality Mark. This course is delivered in accordance with the best practice standards of the Restorative Justice Council.
